Healthy weight loss minus the expense

Hi everyone,

It’s been a while, been so busy with work and university I haven’t had time to update you all.

I can officially say I’ve lost 1 stone 11 since January and kept it off and found a love for healthy cooking and eating the right way. It is important to me that people don’t pay over the odds for weight loss as it shouldn’t cost you anything to be healthy (excluding food).

How I’ve achieved healthy in 4 months:

  • Free apps – Nutracheck and easy meals supported by the NHS.
  • Walking
  • Cycling
  • Drinking 2 litres of water daily
  • Portion control
  • Adding more fruit and vegetables to my meals
  • Snacking better (natural yogurt, fruit, veg or snack ideas from easy meals app)
  • 1000 calories or less 2 to 3 days out of 7 up to 1400 daily the rest of the week. Similar to 5:2 minus the feeling of being hungry on the low calorie days.

The best part is I still eat my favourite treats without over indulging my fave being chocolate.

I have more energy, feel more confident and my skin looks healthier and younger.

It’s not just about losing weight, it’s about changing my attitude towards food so that I can remain healthy and maintain good habits going forward.

Thank you for reading, one change is all it takes to change the way you think for a lifetime.

Finding the Balance

Hey everyone,

So as you’ve seen in previous post I’ve been following the NHS easy meals app to get healthy and personally to change my attitude towards food. https://www.nhs.uk/Tools/Pages/easy-meals.aspx

I’ve lost 1 stone in weight/ fat in two months, I couldn’t be happier.

I’ve only made small changes, as that’s all we really need to be healthier.

The food I eat is so tasty, low in unsaturated fat and full of goodness such as protein and vitamins.

It’s so easy I just wish ide realised sooner that by following FAD diets I wasn’t helping myself.

Never going back 💜

Benefits:

  • Full of energy
  • Skin looks healthier
  • Mood has improved
  • Doesn’t feel like a chore
  • It’s a lifestyle not a diet
  • Hair is less greasy
  • Weight control/loss
  • And so much more

It’s Easy Being Green

Hi everyone,

Why not try green tea?

Over the past two years I have become a big fan of green and peppermint teas.

They are tasty and very good for your health, I have noticed that I don’t get bloated as often and feel much healthier in body and mind.

They are great but they won’t improve your health overnight they are just a stepping stone, towards a healthier and happier lifestyle.

Don’t get me wrong I still love the occasional coffee or normal cuppa but green tea has revolutionised my life.

It’s considerably reduced the amount of caffeine I consume which is a bonus and has helped to improve my sleep and I no longer feel tired all the time.

So it’s your turn to give it a go, you never know unless you try so don’t take my word for it, try for yourself.

Let me know what you think, you will thank yourself.
